C. G. Jung Institut, Küsnacht

The Institute where I’ve trained in Analytical Psychology and Jungian Psychoanalysis. This was the first Institute, founded by Jung himself and his close collaborators in 1948, to offer atraining in Analytical Psychology. It was originally established in Zürich, in the building of the Psychology Club, founded by Jung in 1916, moving in 1979 to its current location in Küsnacht, near Jung’s home where he studied, wrote many of his works and analysed his patients, nowadays a museum open to the public.  

International Association of Analytical Psychology

The International Association for analytical Psychology (IAAP) was founded in 1955 by a group of Jungian Analysts to sustain and promote the work of C. G. Jung. It establishes the standards of the training requirements for becoming a Jungian Psychoanalyst.

International Society of Sandplay Therapy

Sandplay is a therapeutic method developed by Dora M. Kalff, in Zollikon, Switzerland. It is based on the psychological principles of C. G. Jung. Sandplay is a creative form of therapy using the imagination, “a concentrated extract of the life forces both physical and psychic.” (C. G. Jung) It is characterized by the use of sand, water and miniature figures in the creation of images within a “free and protected space” of the therapeutic relationship and the sand tray. The International Society for Sandplay Therapy (ISST) has its domicile in Zürich, Switzerland and it is an umbrella society operating through a number of ISST Member Societies spread throughout the world.
